I needed to provide a platform where they can at least earn income with the skill they already have. … Lancaster is known for being the refugee capital of the country. I needed to create a conversation around the refugee issue and help the people around the local community meet their refugee neighbors. … Just having different types of experiences, whether it’s food, whether it’s a performance, a talent or a class. All of these experiences are designed to create some level of conversation within the community and showcase the many talents within the refugee community.
