In an effort to meet regional demand for web developers, the UO will offer a new 24-week coding course in Portland starting this January.
The University of Oregon Coding Boot Camp is a part-time program is geared toward adult learners and working professionals. Students will gain the skills to develop dynamic end-to-end web applications as well as receive a UO certificate in full-stack web development at the end of the program.
The UO’s Department of Continuing and Professional Education is partnering with Trilogy Education to offer the course.
The noncredit program starts Jan. 15 at UO Portland, 70 NW Couch St. Classes will be from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. two nights during the week and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays.
